วันที่ 13 มีนาคม 2569 สมาคมปัญญาประดิษฐ์ประเทศไทย (Artificial Intelligence Association of Thailand: AIAT) จัดงาน พิธีปิดโครงการ Super AI Engineer Season 5 และ พิธีเปิดโครงการ Super AI Engineer Season 6 ณ ห้องแถลงข่าว ชั้น 1 อาคารพระจอมเกล้า สำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (อว.) เพื่อสรุปผลการดำเนินงานของโครงการพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรด้านปัญญาประดิษฐ์ของประเทศไทย “Super AI Engineer Season 5” พร้อมประกาศเดินหน้าการพัฒนากำลังคนด้าน AI อย่างต่อเนื่องใน “Super AI Engineer Season 6”
โครงการ Super AI Engineer ได้ดำเนินการอย่างต่อเนื่องเข้าสู่ปีที่ 6 และถือเป็นหนึ่งในโครงการพัฒนาบุคลากรด้านปัญญาประดิษฐ์ระดับแนวหน้าของประเทศไทย ภายใต้แนวคิด Digital Workforce Transformation ที่มุ่งสร้างกำลังคนคุณภาพสูงผ่านกระบวนการเรียนรู้เชิงปฏิบัติ การทำงานกับโจทย์จริงจากภาคอุตสาหกรรม และความร่วมมือกับผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากภาควิชาการ ภาคอุตสาหกรรม และหน่วยงานวิจัยชั้นนำ โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อเสริมศักยภาพให้ประเทศไทยสามารถปรับตัวและแข่งขันได้ในยุคที่เทคโนโลยีปัญญาประดิษฐ์กำลังเปลี่ยนแปลงโลกอย่างรวดเร็ว ซึ่งความคาดหวังสำคัญของโครงการในปีนี้ คือการสร้าง “ทักษะสูง รายได้ดี และโอกาสงานใหม่” ให้กับคนไทยในเศรษฐกิจยุค AI
ตลอดระยะเวลากว่า 5 ปีที่ผ่านมา โครงการฯ สามารถสร้างบุคลากรด้าน AI จำนวนมากเข้าสู่ภาคอุตสาหกรรม ทั้งในบทบาท AI Engineer (วิศวกรด้านปัญญาประดิษฐ์), AI Innovator (นวัตกรด้านปัญญาประดิษฐ์), AI Researcher (นักวิจัยด้านปัญญาประดิษฐ์) และ ผู้ประกอบการ Startup ด้านปัญญาประดิษฐ์ ซึ่งเป็นกำลังสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัลของประเทศ
ภายในงานได้รับเกียรติจาก ดร. พันธุ์เพิ่มศักดิ์ อารุณี รองปลัดกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (อว.) เป็นประธานในพิธี และกล่าวแสดงความยินดีกับความสำเร็จของโครงการ Super AI Engineer Season 5 ที่สามารถพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรด้าน AI ของประเทศได้อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
“โครงการ Super AI Engineer Season 5 ช่วยพัฒนาศักยภาพของคนไทยในการพัฒนาองค์ความรู้และนวัตกรรมด้าน AI เพื่อการพัฒนาประเทศอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม และเมื่อโลกกำลังก้าวสู่ยุค AI-Driven Economy ทำให้การเร่งพัฒนากำลังคนด้าน AI เป็นภารกิจสำคัญต่อการเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของประเทศ เป็นที่น่ายินดีที่โครงการ Super AI Engineer ได้เดินหน้าอย่างต่อเนื่องในปีที่ 6 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นภายใต้แนวคิด Digital Workforce Transformation เพื่อสร้างกำลังคนทักษะสูงด้าน AI ที่สามารถเข้าสู่ภาคอุตสาหกรรม ทำให้เกิดตำแหน่งงานใหม่ที่มีรายได้สูง และช่วยเพิ่มศักยภาพในการสร้างรายได้ให้กับองค์กร เสริมความแข็งแกร่งให้ระบบนิเวศ AI ของประเทศไทยในระยะยาวต่อไป”
“โครงการ Super AI Engineer เป็นพื้นที่การเรียนรู้ที่เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้สนใจจากหลากหลายสาขาได้พัฒนาทักษะด้าน AI อย่างเข้มข้น ผ่านการเรียนรู้เชิงปฏิบัติและการทำงานกับโจทย์จริงจากภาคอุตสาหกรรม ทำให้ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการสามารถต่อยอดสู่การทำงานจริงในสายงาน AI และสร้างนวัตกรรมที่เกิดประโยชน์ต่อประเทศ”
“โครงการนี้ไม่ได้มุ่งเพียงการอบรมความรู้ด้าน AI เท่านั้น แต่ยังสร้างระบบนิเวศการเรียนรู้ที่ต่อเนื่อง ผ่านแนวคิด AI Competency และ Credit Bank ซึ่งช่วยให้ผู้เรียนสามารถสะสมทักษะ ความรู้ และประสบการณ์ เพื่อพัฒนาเป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้าน AI ได้ในระยะยาว”
ภายในงานยังมีพิธีมอบประกาศนียบัตรให้แก่ หน่วยวิจัยและอาจารย์ประจำหน่วยวิจัยที่เข้าร่วมโครงการในกลุ่มกิจกรรม AI Researcher จากมหาวิทยาลัยและสถาบันวิจัยทั่วประเทศ รวมถึงผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมใน AI Researcher ที่มุ่งสร้างนักวิจัยด้านปัญญาประดิษฐ์รุ่นใหม่ให้กับประเทศไทยด้วย
อีกหนึ่งกิจกรรมสำคัญ คือ การเสวนาพิเศษในหัวข้อ “AI Research for Thailand and Beyond” ซึ่งเปิดเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับบทบาทของงานวิจัยด้านปัญญาประดิษฐ์ต่อการพัฒนาประเทศและการสร้างนวัตกรรมระดับโลก
รศ.ดร.สรณะ นุชอนงค์ หัวหน้ากลุ่มกิจกรรม AI Researcher กล่าวในเวทีเสวนาว่า
“การพัฒนางานวิจัยด้าน AI ของประเทศไทยจำเป็นต้องเชื่อมโยงทั้งภาคการศึกษา ภาคอุตสาหกรรม และภาคนโยบาย เพื่อสร้างงานวิจัยที่สามารถนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ได้จริง และสร้างผลกระทบเชิงเศรษฐกิจและสังคมในระยะยาว”
พิธีในครั้งนี้ถือเป็นการปิดโครงการ Super AI Engineer Season 5 อย่างสมบูรณ์ พร้อมทั้งเปิดตัว Super AI Engineer Season 6 ซึ่งจะดำเนินการภายใต้แนวคิด Digital Workforce Transformation เพื่อสร้างบุคลาก รด้าน AI ที่มีทักษะตรงกับความต้องการของภาคอุตสาหกรรม
ใน Season 6 ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการจะได้พัฒนาทักษะทั้ง Hard Skills และ Soft Skills ผ่านกระบวนการเรียนรู้ด้าน AI ตั้งแต่ระดับพื้นฐาน ไปจนถึงการพัฒนาโมเดลและการแก้โจทย์จริงจากภาคธุรกิจ โดยผู้ที่มีศักยภาพสูงจะมีโอกาสต่อยอดสู่ การทำงานจริงในบริษัทเทคโนโลยี องค์กรธุรกิจ และหน่วยงานด้านนวัตกรรม

Super AI Engineer Advances to Season 6 to Cultivate Thailand’s AI Workforce for the AI-Driven Economy
On 13 March 2026, the Artificial Intelligence Association of Thailand (AIAT) held the Super AI Engineer Season 5 Closing Ceremony and the Super AI Engineer Season 6 Opening Ceremony at the Press Conference Room, 1st Floor, Phra Chom Klao Building, Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI). The event aimed to summarize the outcomes of Thailand’s artificial intelligence capacity-building initiative, Super AI Engineer Season 5, while announcing the continued development of AI talent through Super AI Engineer Season 6 .
The Super AI Engineer Program has continued to progress into Season 6 and is recognized as one of Thailand's leading high-quality program for developing artificial intelligence professionals.
Under the concept of Digital Workforce Transformation, the program seeks to cultivate high-quality talent through hands-on learning processes, engagement with real-world industry challenges, and collaboration with experts from academia, industry, and leading research institutions. The program aims to strengthen Thailand’s ability to adapt and compete in an era where artificial intelligence technologies are rapidly transforming the world. A key aspiration of the program this year is to create “high-level skills, high-income opportunities, and new career pathways” for Thai citizens in the emerging AI economy.
Over the past five years (season 1 - season 5), the program has produced a significant number of AI professionals who have entered the industrial sector in roles such as AI Engineer, AI Innovator, AI Researcher, and AI startup entrepreneurs, all of whom represent a vital driving force behind the country’s digital economy.
“Super AI Engineer Season 5 has helped strengthen the capabilities of Thai people in developing knowledge and innovation in AI for the tangible advancement of the nation. As the world moves toward an AI-Driven Economy, accelerating the development of AI talent has become a critical mission for enhancing national competitiveness. It is therefore encouraging that the Super AI Engineer program continues into Season 6 under the concept of Digital Workforce Transformation, aiming to cultivate highly skilled AI professionals who can enter the industrial sector, generate new high-income employment opportunities, and enhance organizations’ capacity for revenue generation, thereby strengthening Thailand’s AI ecosystem in the long term."
Assistant Professor Dr. Nongnuch Ketui, Head of the Super AI Engineer Program and Vice President of the Artificial Intelligence Association of Thailand (AIAT), presented the achievements of Super AI Engineer Season 5, which comprised three major activity tracks: AI Innovator, AI Engineer, and AI Researcher.
“The Super AI Engineer program serves as a learning platform that provides individuals from diverse disciplines with the opportunity to develop intensive AI skills through practical learning and engagement with real-world industry challenges. This enables participants to extend their experience into actual careers in the AI field and to create innovations that benefit the nation.”
Dr. Thepchai Sapnithi, President of the Artificial Intelligence Association of Thailand, spoke about the development of the AI Competency Framework and AI Credit Bank under the Super AI Engineer Season 5 program.
“This program does not merely focus on providing AI training; it also builds a continuous learning ecosystem through the concepts of AI Competency and Credit Bank, enabling learners to accumulate skills, knowledge, and experience in order to develop into AI specialists over the long term.”
The event also featured a certificate presentation ceremony for research units and faculty members participating in the AI Researcher track activities from universities and research institutes across the country, as well as for participants in the AI Researcher track, which aims to cultivate a new generation of artificial intelligence researchers for Thailand.
Another key activity was a special panel discussion titled “AI Research for Thailand and Beyond,” which provided a platform for exchanging perspectives on the role of artificial intelligence research in national development and the creation of world-class innovation.
Associate Professor Dr. Sarana Nuchanong, Head of the AI Researcher activity group, remarked during the panel discussion:
“The development of AI research in Thailand must be closely connected across academia, industry, and policy sectors in order to produce research that can be applied in practice and generate long-term economic and social impact.”
This ceremony marked the official completion of Super AI Engineer Season 5, while simultaneously launching Super AI Engineer Season 6, which will continue under the concept of Digital Workforce Transformation to develop AI professionals whose skills align with the needs of the industrial sector in an AI-Driven economy.
In Season 6, participants will develop both Hard Skills and Soft Skills through a comprehensive AI learning process ranging from foundational knowledge to model development and real-world problem solving drawn from the business sector. Participants demonstrating outstanding potential will have opportunities to advance toward actual employment in technology companies, business organizations, and innovation-driven institutions.
Those interested in joining Super AI Engineer Season 6 may apply regardless of gender or age, and no prior background in AI is required. Participation is entirely free throughout the program. Once registered, applicants may begin learning and participating in program activities immediately.
